Class Description: Our Little Sluggers classes are designed to teach young players the fun aspects of baseball that will keep them wanting to learn and play the game. Baseball can be a boring game to learn if not taught by someone who keeps things interesting and fun for our little learners. These classes will mix fun games and activities with basic baseball fundamental and skill work.
Key athletic concepts that will be taught:
hand/eye coordination, speed/agility, balance/stabilization, power/explosion, and rotation.
Key basic baseball concepts that will be taught:
-Hitting: Grip, Stance, Swing Plane, Rotation, Follow Through
-Fielding: Set-up, Balance, Footwork
-Throwing: Grip, Stance, Arm Path, Rotation, Follow Through

Class Description: Our “FUN”damentals classes are designed to teach players that learning the fundamental skills of baseball is very important but it doesn’t have to be boring. Our instructors will teach these important fundamentals in a fun and fast paced class that will have students sweating and smiling. These classes will infuse skill building drills and activities into fun competitive sessions.

speed, agility, balance, power

-Hitting: Tee Work, Flips, Soft-Toss, Pitch Recognition, Live Batting off Pitchers
-Throwing: Grip, Arm Path, Drills, Accuracy competitions
Pitching- Grips, Lead-offs, Mechanics, Strike-out competitions
-Fielding: Set-up, Footwork, Drills, competitions
Baserunning- Set-up, lead-offs, reading pitches, taking extra bases

Pre-High School Training (12yo-14yo)
Class Description: Our Pre-High School Training classes are designed to give players an insight into how HS baseball players train and the types of skills it takes to play HS baseball. Our staff will teach players methods for physical training, skill building drills/techniques, and mental training for learning situational baseball. We will also be evaluating players current skills and giving them ideas and methods for improvement.
Key athletic concepts that will be taught: hand/eye coordination, speed/agility, balance/stabilization, power/explosion, and rotation.
Pre-HS Training:
Conditioning- Learning about weight lifting, medicine ball workouts, plyometrics, speed/agility
Skill Building- Throwing, Hitting, Throwing, Pitching, Fielding, Baserunning
Mental Training- Situational Hitting, Situational Defense, Baserunning, Quizzes and Drills
Evaluations- Players will be evaluated in Throwing, Hitting, Pitching, Defense, Baserunning
